Iranian dentist bags American award
Mashad, Iranian expert dentist Ali Baqerian received Paul P. Taylor award from the American Dental Association.
Speaking to IRNA, Baqerian said the article which was awarded has been the result of the research conducted by a fivemember group in Mashad.
In the study which focused on 25 children, the researchers concluded that the less dental pulp, which is a collection of vessels, nerves and connective tissues, is removed it will have better, he added.
The ceremony for granting the award will be held in Hilton Chicago on May 26.
It is worth noting that the US diplomatic mission in Ankara refused to issue visa for Baqerian.
The Paul P. Taylor award is given to the lead author of the most prestigious journal article in Pediatric Dentistry from the previous year. This award is determined by the AAPD Editorial Board.
A plaque will be presented to the lead author at the General Assembly at the Annual Session, and each coauthor will receive a certificate of appreciation.
The Baylor Pediatric Dentistry Alumni Fund graciously supports this prestigious award.
