Iranian diplomats to pay tribute to Imam Khomeini

Tehran, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and the other officials of the ministry as well as heads of Iran's mission in other countries will pay tribute to Imam Khomeini, the founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, on Saturday.

The first seminar of Iran's ambassadors and heads of missions in the second term of Hassan Rouhani as the country's President will be held next week.

Prior to the meeting, the diplomats will meet Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The heads of Iran's three branches of power will address the seminar.

Regional and international developments as well as Iran's approach towards the developments within the framework of purposeful enhancement of diplomacy and foreign relations, among others, will be discussed in the meeting.
