Iranian lecturer appointed deputy Asian assembly of mayors
Tehran,Secretary of the coordinating council of the cultural centers of University of Tehran Ehsan Mohammadi, was appointed by the general secretary of the Asian Association of Mayors as the deputy general secretary of the assembly.
He is a graduate of International Relations and International Law at Carleton University of Canada and University of Tehran and lecturer of the university.
According to a report from the University of Tehran, he was the head of the Center for International Affairs and Ceremonies of the Tehran Municipality's Cultural and Art Organization, deputy director general of public relations of Tehran Municipality's Cultural and Arts Organization, director of the Iranian Cultural Association in Canada, advisor to the Cultural Representation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, secretary of Political Science association of University of Tehran, Secretary-General and spokesman for the Cultural Organization of the University of Tehran, secretary of the Center for International Studies of Tehran University.
The Asian Assembly of Mayors is the international forum established in 2008 with the aim of encouraging and facilitating cooperation between cities, municipalities and local governments, strengthening urban management through bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and promoting access to sustainable urban development. Tehran, Istanbul, Bangkok and Haiku respectively headed the first to fourth round.
