Iranian MP elected as president of IPU executive board

Tehran, Fatemeh Hosseini, a female representative of Tehran at the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) has been elected chairwoman of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) executive board.

Ali Asghar Yousefnejad, MP of Sari in Majlis was elected as first vice president and Mohammad Baset Derazehi, Saravan' MP as second vice president.

Mohammad Javad Jamali Nobandegani, Fasa representative at parliament, was also elected as Secretary-General of the Executive Council of IPU.

Parvaneh Mafi, the representative of Tehran in the Majlis, was elected as treasurer, Mehdi Farshadan, the representative of Sanandaj as the first secretary, and Jalil Mokhtar, the representative of Abadan as second secretary.
