Iranian rowers hunt more success in Asian Rowing Champs

Tehran, Iranian National Rowing Team chalked up yet more victories at 2018 Asian Rowing Championships which is underway in Uzbekistan, snatching three silver and one bronze medals.

According to Iran's Canoeing, Rowing and Sailing Federation, in �U23 500m kayak double, Mohammad Hadi Jafari and Omid Ahmadi, and Mahsa Azari and Arezoo Hakimi grabbed the second place medal.

In women's 500m canoe double, Parisa Mohammadzadeh and Fatemeh Karamjani won a silver medal and in 500m kayak double, Elnaz Shafieiyan and Sama Yasemi bagged the third place medal.

Earlier this morning, Arezoo Hakimi and Elnaz Shafieiyan had taken the top spot and Atena Raoofi had snatched a silver medal in women's 500m canoe single.

Iran's rowers have thus far won seven gold, eight silver and seven bronze medals.

Iran's Paracanoe team was crowned champion by grabbing six gold and two silver medals.

The games are to be concluded today.
