Iranian singer to work with German music band
Tehran, Iranian pop singer Hojat Ashrafzadeh who is to participate in the latest German band's album, recorded his first track with the band. He vocalized a track in the presence of the head of the band, Christopher von Deylen yesterday (Sept 4).
Von Deylen and his band performed in Tehran from December 10-15 and surprised the audience by playing a song called Berlin-Tehran.
The music video of the song which showed remarkable images of Tehran attracted attention from around the world; however, the band's activity in Iran was not limited to putting on concerts.
Upon hearing Ashraf Zadeh's voice during his visit to Iran, Von Deylen decided to travel to Iran again to collaborate with the Iranian singer in one of his most recent albums.
Mustafa Kabiri, the producer and arranger of the event in Tehran said, taking international standards into account, they planned to perform concerts in Tehran so that they could introduce Iranian music to the world and boost cooperation in this field.
The cooperation has made many people in the world familiar with Iranian music and Iran hopes the cooperation will be mutual and continuous, Kabiri added.
He went on to say the collaboration is a major accomplishment for Iranian music and will promote Iranian music and Iranian singers throughout the world.
