Iranian swimming prodigy to attend Int’l Sports Convention in Switzerland

Tehran, Shahin Izadyar, Persian version of Michael Phelps, will visit Switzerland to attend an International Sports Convention.

Along with a team of sports experts, Izadyar will head to Switzerland on Monday to attend a twoday sports convention.

The 25yearold paraswimmer and recordholder snatched over 10 percent of the gold medals which Iranian athletes brought home in the 2018 Asian Para Games held in Jakarta, thus being the cream of the crop for Iran's caravan.

Eighteen conferences and seminars will be held in the international event which aim at raising the awareness of individuals and organizations.

The International Sporting Convention will be held in Geneva on Tuesday and Wednesday.
