Iranian taekwondoka fails to attend Manchester Grand Prix for injuries

Tehran, Mehdi Khodabakhshi, Iranian Taekwondoka in -80 weight class failed to participate in Manchester Grand Prix 2018 due to his injuries.

Khodabakhshi was taken to hospital few days ago as his knee pain increased.

Manchester Grand Prix 2018 will be held for three days as of October 19 in the British city.

Those who rank first, second and third in the tournament will gain 40, 24 and 14.4 points to increase their ranking for the Olympic Games and will also receive 5,000, 3,000 and 1,000 dollars, respectively as their prize.
