Iranian teen bags first gold medal in Table Tennis

Tehran, National Iranian teenage player Radin Khayyam won for the first time the gold Medal of the Chinese Taipei's Table Tennis Open.

Radin Khayyam succeeded for the first time with the defeat of an athlete from Japan to win the golden medal in Table Tennis' Golden Series.

The Open-world tournament of Junior and Youth Golden Series was held on Thursday in the Chinese Taipei and Iran's team combining Khayyam and Navid Shams won the Bronze medal.

The Chinese Taipei A team won first place and Hong Kong stood on the second. The third place of the tournament also came to Iran and Chinese Taipei B team.
