Iran’s aluminum ingot output grows by 11% in 4 months

Tehran, Iran produced some 121,909 tons of aluminum in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (began on March 21) which shows 11% increase compared to the same period last year.

Three aluminum complexes � namely Iralco, Hormozal, and Almahdi (with 109,822 tons of production in the four-month period) � made the most significant contributions to this growth, according to Islamic Republic News Agency's economic desk's reporter.

Statistics suggest that Iran's aluminum ingot output is expected to reach 1 million tons by 2025.
