Iran’s Armed Forces barrier against terrorists: Commander
Tehran, Commander of Iran's Ground Forces said that terrorists have been active along the country's border, adding that the Armed Forces have managed to prevent their infiltration into the country.
'Twenty-one Daesh terrorists were killed in western Iran,' Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour said Monday in a ceremony of commemoration of the forces that were killed in a recent terrorist attack in Marivan, Kurdestan Province.
This year, as the result of the global arrogance adversaries, all terrorist groups, even those who were camp-based, have been activated in neighboring countries as well as Iraqi Kurdistan, he said.
Despite all terrorist movements, there has been the least insecurity in the region; a situation which is the result of the sacrifices of border guards, the commander said.
He also vowed to take revenge of July 21 terrorist attack that left 11 Iranian forces killed and 8 more injured.
