Iran’s envoy submits copy of credentials to Lebanese FM
Beirut, Iran's new Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Jalal Feirouznia submitted copy of his credentials to Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil on Monday.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed the necessity to promote mutual cooperation between Tehran and Beirut.
The new ambassador is to submit his credentials to Lebanese President Michel Aoun within next few days.
Feirouznia upon his arrival to Beirut last Wednesday said the triangle of 'Army, Nation and Resistance' is a guarantee for stability and security of Lebanon and underlined that Iran will support this 'Golden Equation'.
He said bilateral relations between Iran and Lebanon is good, adding that Iran tries to further broaden such relations in different fields.
Feirouznia is successor of Mohammad Fathali and he has already been director general for Persian Gulf Department in Foreign Ministry and also was ambassador of Iran in Malaysia, Yemen and Bahrain.
