Iran’s GrecoRoman national team stands champion of Shahed Cup
Orumieh , Iran's GrecoRoman national team won the championship title of the 14th International Wrestling Championship of Shahed Cup in Orumieh.
On Thursday evening and on the second day of the tournament, Iran's GrecoRoman team won the championship with defeating Iran's National Development team 82.
In other competitions, Iran's second National GrecoRoman team finished fifth, Georgia was ranked sixth, with selected West Azerbaijan's and Syria's selected teams ranking seventh and eighth, respectively.
The tournament included eight foreign and eight Iranian teams, including the FreeStyle and GrecoRoman wrestling teams of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Syria, and six teams from Iran, while two from West Azerbaijan.
The GrecoRoman and FreeStyle national teams participated with 60 athletes in six teams in the 14th round of International Wrestling Championship of Shahed Cup.
