IRAN’S NON-OIL TRADE WITH AZERBAIJAN EXCEEDS 38 PERCENT IN VALUE GROWTH IN FIVE MONTHS
Iran traded 263,586 tonnes of non-oil commodities, worth 149.38 million U.S. dollars, with Azerbaijan, during the first five months of the current Iranian fiscal year (Mar 21-Aug. 22), Eghtesadonline news website reported, on Wednesday.
The figures registered a 39.56 percent rise in weight, and 38.38 percent growth in value, compared with last year's corresponding period.
Iran's exports to Azerbaijan stood at 242,209 tonnes, worth 141.18 million U.S. dollars.
Iran mainly exported polypropylene grid, pipes and iron profiles to Azerbaijan, during the five-month period.
Azerbaijan exported 21,377 tonnes of goods worth 8.20 million U.S. dollars to Iran.
Iran's imports mainly included non-alloy iron and steel products, poultry feed and scrap iron.
