IRAN’S RELIGIOUS LEADER EXPLAINS REASONS FOR NOT RENEGOTIATING WITH THE US
The leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, explained the reasons why his country refuses to renegotiate with the United States on any issue.
Khamenei said that making a deal implies the commitment of the sides to receive and offer something in return, in statements quoted yesterday by local media.
However, in case of Washington, the Americans establish their objectives before talks begin and keep them in place.
'Negotiating means making a deal,' the religious leader said, but Washington never gives in to its positions.
The North Americans demand from the interlocutor immediate benefit, while they only offer promises, he said.
Early this month, the White House imposed further sanctions against the Iranian nation and Trump invited this nation's peer to renegotiate the treaty to which he intends to include 13 demands.
