Iran’s Rouhani to address Mandela summit at UN
New York, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani will address Nelson Mandela Peace Summit at the United Nations.
President Rouhani who arrived in New York on Sunday, will begin his second day in the city with a US TV interview, followed by attending a meeting in commemoration of the South African anti-Apartheid leader.
Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years under South Africa's white minority government, before becoming in the country's first multi-racial election.
President Rouhani will also meet his counterparts and heads of international organizations on Monday (local time).
Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif who is accompanying Rouhani will have a series of diplomatic meetings, including talks with signatories of Iran nuclear deal.
