Iraq Airforce Targets ISIS Hideouts Inside Mosul

A video was released by the Iraqi Defence Ministry on Monday allegedly showing Iraqi jet fighters carrying out airstrikes on Islamic State (ISIS, IS, ISIL, Daesh) hideouts.

The footage is said to be filmed from an aircraft over Mosul province, where Iraqi air forces are supporting a government offensive to retake the region from extremist militants.

The Ministry of Defence said in a statement attached to the video ISIS had suffered heavy losses in men and equipment following the attack.

The statement didn't say when the airstrikes had been carried out, AP reports.
