Iraqi Army Rescued 10 Year Old Girl from ISIS Who Murdered Her Dad
A little girl whose father was killed by ISIS wept with joy and relief when rescued by Iraqi soldiers after three days without food or water.
Aysha, 10, has lived under the fearsome yoke of the terror group since her home Kafer, a village 18 miles from besieged Mosul, was occupied in 2014.
She was forced to watch the death cult murder her father, rob her mother.
She told the troops: I'm so thankful to you.
I thought you would never come for us.The Iraqi troops gave her water and biscuits.
She hadn't had either for three days.
The Iraqi government recently launched an offensive on Mosul, which had previously been a stronghold for ISIS.
Elite Iraqi troops have poured into the area to force out the terror group in a long-anticipated offensive.
UN human rights chief Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein said he was concerned of reports that the Islamic State was using civilians as a buffer.
He said: There is a grave danger that ISIL fighters will not only use such vulnerable people as human shields, but may opt to kill them rather than see them liberated.
