Iraqi Kurdistan referendum to bring about fresh crisis
Tehran, Sep 5, IRNA � Holding referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan will bring about new crisis, Special Aide for Parliament Speaker for international affairs said.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks Tuesday in a meeting with diplomatic advisor of the French President.
He pointed to June 7 Tehran terrorist attack, saying terror attacks in the region and Europe indicates that world community is involved with a new terror phenomenon which is rooted in Wahhabism.
Amir-Abdollahian described French President Emmanuel Macron's balanced stances on Syrian crisis and on finding a solution to this problem as important.
France status is based upon the need to maintain territorial integrity of Iraq and avoiding separatist activities.
Holding referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan will bring no help, but will create new crisis in Iraq.
Creating conflicts in Iraq will pave the way for terrorists.
He also referred to tragic conditions in Yemen, and said Yemeni people are after stopping Saudi aggressions and finding political solution through negotiations.
Amir-Abdollahian went on to say that fighting terrorism to establish full security in Syria, focusing on finding political solution, the need to pay attention to humanitarian view and preventing the interference of foreign countries are important points about this country.
Meanwhile, French diplomat stressed reinforcing ties between Iran and France.
He said that France has a clear stance on fighting terrorism, adding we are against those who create regional crises such as violence and war in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Lebanon.
