Iraqi PM due in Iran soon
Baghdad, Iraqi Prime Minister Adil AbdulMahdi is slated to have a trip to Iran soon.
AbdulMahdi announced that he is supposed to visit some regional countries namely Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
He added that the trip will be made within two weeks if the conditions will be normal and floods recede and rain stops.
Meanwhile an informed source told IRNA that Iraqi Prime Minister's trip upon Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will be made on Saturday and Sunday.
In this regard, an Iraqi highranking delegation headed for Tehran on Tuesday.
Holding IranIraq joint economic meeting with the attendance of members of Iranian and Iraqi chamber of commerce is on AbdulMahdi itinerary.
Earlier on March 10, Rouhani visited Iraq at the official invitation of that country's president and prime minister at the head of a highranking delegation.
During his threeday visit to Iraq, Rouhani conferred with the senior Iraqi cleric Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani.
Exploring avenues for promoting bilateral relations in the political, economic and cultural fields were among the main objectives of the Iranian president's official visit to Iraq.
As Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif earlier commented on Rouhani's trip, his tour happened in an important historic era after victory against the ISIS'.
