IRGC annihilates terrorist team in northwest of Iran
Tehran, The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) killed 11 members of a terrorist team during an operation in the western city of Oshnaviyeh in northwest of Iran.
The terrorists affiliated to the global arrogance and foreign intelligence services were to infiltrate into the country, office of public relations of the IRGC Ground Force's Hamzeh Seyyed ol-Shohada Base said in a statement.
The equipped terrorist team was to create insecurity and take subversive measures in Iran, the statement added.
As the statement noted, the terrorists were carrying a large amount of weapons and communication devices which were confiscated by the IRGC forces.
Oshnaviyeh in situated in west of northwestern West Azarbaijan Province which has joint border lines with Iraq and Turkey.
