ISIS Fails again to Break through Syrian Army Positions East of Homs
The ISIS (Daesh / ISIL) terrorist group suffered a heavy death toll and its military hardware sustained major damage after its attack on government positions in Eastern Homs was warded off by the Syrian Army troops.
The army soldiers fended off ISIL's offensive on their positions in the town of Jubb al-Jarrah, killing a number of them after hours of heavy fighting.
In the meantime, other units of the army targeted a gathering of ISIS in the Eastern direction of the Fourth Station West of Palmyra (Tadmur), leaving tens of militants dead and their vehicles destroyed.
Also, the army troops targeted ISIS terrorists' movements and gatherings in six different regions in Eastern Homs on Sunday, inflicting tens of casualties on the militants.
The army soldiers hit ISIL's concentration centers hard in the villages and towns of Arsouneh, East of Tiyas, East of Station 4, Ba'ar al-Wa'erah, near Qasr al-Hayer and in Eastern side of al-Quaryatayn, killing and wounding tens of militants and destroying their armored vehicles; FNA reported.
