Israeli forces kill 1 Palestinian, injure 39 more in Gaza
Tehran, The Israeli forces have killed a Palestinian protestor and injured 39 others during the great March of Return rallies in Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian media, thousands of Palestinians attended the March of Return protests.
The Zionist forces suppressed the protestors using tear gas.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Maan News Agency quoted the Palestine Health Ministry Spokesman Ashraf Al-Qidra as saying that Israeli forces have shot two Palestinian youths dead in the West Bank.
The great 'March of Return' rallies culminated on May 15 to mark what Palestinians refer to as the Nakba, or Catastrophe--a reference to the forced removal of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and villages to clear the way for Israel's establishment in 1948.
The mass Friday demonstrations have continued since then.
Since the protests began on March 30, Israeli forces have killed at least 259 Palestinians in the besieged coastal enclave and wounded about 26,000 people, according to health officials in Gaza.
Earlier on January 22, the Israeli regime declared start of air attacks on northern Gaza in the pretext of retaliating targeting of a Zionist force and then killing of a Resistance force affiliated with Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and injuring two others in an artillery attack on eastern Bureij.
Israel claimed that Hamas is responsible for any incident which happens inside and outside Gaza.
This is while the Palestinian Society Prisoner's Club in a statement announced earlier that the Israeli forces attack on Ofer Prison in the occupied West Bank had injured at least 100 Palestinian detainees.
