JCPOA good example of diplomatic victory: Envoy
London, Iran's Ambassador to the Netherlands Ali Reza Jahangiri said on Tuesday that JCPOA is a good example of diplomatic victory, multilateralism and Iran's abidance by its commitments, but on the contrary the US scrapped the deal.
Addressing the ceremony marking the 40th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution attended by the Dutch elites and other countries' ambassador, he added that 13 reports released by the International Atomic Energy Agency clearly attests to Iran's compliance with its commitments under the JCPOA.
Unfortunately, other parties, including EU have failed to do their side, disturbing balance in the agreement, Jahangiri said.
He also hoped that the EU would be able to help both sides benefit JCPOA's economic interests under the newly-launched payment mechanism called Instrument in Support of Trade Exchange (INSTEX).
As to Iran-Holland ties, he said that bilateral relations have increased over the past five years, as the two countries' officials are serious determined to promote ties.
Over the past 40 years, Iran has always been victim of terrorism and chemical weapons as well as the enemies' plots, but it has managed to overcome all the problems through reliance on its capabilities, he said.
