Judiciary gains public trust: IRNA chief

Tehran, There is some obscurity in some issues that result in rumors, so clarification and transparency, especially in judicial issues, helps gain public trust, said Zia Hashemi on Wednesday in a meeting of media persons with head of Iran's judiciary branch Ebrahim Raisi.

'Your approach has raised some hope and continuation of the path will help public trust to the judiciary,' said Hashemi.

Hoping for a interactive approach with the press and public opinion, he said that safeguarding the reputation of people is of great importance in Iran, and it is a duty of the Judiciary Branch to make slandering costly.

'It is very difficult to compensate for false accusations.'
