Kazakh envoy confers with FM Zarif
Tehran, Visiting Kazakh First Deputy Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberd conferred on Wednesday with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on issues of mutual relations along with regional and international developments.
Kazakhstan is a very good friend for the Islamic Republic of Iran and relations between the two countries are of prime importance, Zarif said.
Kazakh, envoy for his part, expressed satisfaction over his visit and said he held very promising talks with Iranian officials and Kazakhstan attaches importance to expansion of relation with Iran.
The two sides in the meeting also examined expansion of mutual relations, regional and international cooperation, Caspian Sea legal regime, forming IranKazakhstan Joint Economic Commission meeting and transit of goods.
Consulate cooperation, US illegal and unilateral sanctions imposed against the Islamic Republic of Iran, US hostile approach towards Iran and its dangerous consequences, transportation corridor, setting up of Sika meeting in Tajikistan and Kazakhstan's support for the JCPOA were among other issues discuessed.
