Kish, ECO open joint cooperation office
Kish, The joint cooperation office of Kish Free Zone Organization and ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) was opened aiming to reinforce cultural cooperation, especially in international tourism field in Kish Island.
The inauguration ceremony was held with the attendance of the Managing Director of Kish Free Zone Organization Gholam Hossein Mozaffari, Head of ECI Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri , Turkmenistan Envoy to Iran Ahmad Ghorbanov, Pakistan Ambassador to Tehran Riffat Masood, Kazakh Envoy and some officials of Kish Island.
Speaking to IRNA, Mozaffari described opening the office as an important step in reinforcing international tourism of Kish Free Zone.
He underlined taking advantage of regional and international capacities for developing international tourism through establishing interaction with ECO members.
Meanwhile, Mazaheri pointed to literature, sports, library, peace and family as other fields of cooperation between Kish Free Zone Organization and ECI.
The Economic Cooperation Organization or ECO is a Eurasian political and economic intergovernmental organization which was founded in 1984 in Tehran by the leaders of Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey. It provides a platform to discuss ways to improve development and promote trade and investment opportunities.
