Korean envoy: Iran playing major role in establishing peace in ME
Sari� Iran is playing a crucial role in maintaining peace in the Middle East, South Korean ambassador to Tehran said.
South Korea is after boosting economic ties with Iran, Kim Seung-ho said in a meeting with governor general of Mazandaran Province Mohammad Eslami.
We have to develop relations with Iran in all fields, he added.
He referred to connecting Iranian and Korean Chambers of Commerce as a solution for promoting economic ties between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Eslami welcomed South Korea's investment in shipbuilding industries in the Caspian Sea coast.
Grounds have been prepared for the Korean investors to invest in shipbuilding industries in east and west of the province, he added.
Eslami also urged both sides to pave the way for boosting foreign relations between Korean provinces and northern Iranian province, Mazandaran.
Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce is ready to dispatch trade delegations to South Korea, Eslami noted.
