Larijani calls for expansion of Iran-Madagascar ties
Tehran, Aug 4, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani held talks with visiting Madagascarian counterpart Jean Max Rakotomamonjy on issues of mutual interests here on Friday.
Larijani underscored that Iran's sustainable security has paved the way for expansion of all-out ties between the two countries.
He added Iran attaches great importance to expansion of relations with Madagascar.
Larijani stressed that there is huge potential for expansion of mutual relation, underlying that the recent visit of Madagascar parliamentary delegation is a good opportunity for reinforcement of cooperation between the two countries.
He also voiced Iranian companies' readiness to cooperate with Madagascar in energy, petrochemicals, home appliances, medical, agricultural as well as tourism arenas.
Touching upon recent regional crises, Larijani said Iran enjoys sustainable security which has paved the way for expansion of trade relations between the two countries.
Rakotomamonjy, for his part, called for development of cooperation with Iran in economic, trade and industrial arenas.
He added expansion of parliamentary cooperation is vital for boosting mutual ties.
Rakotomamonjy arrived in Tehran on Thursday to participate in swearing-in ceremony of President Rouhani.
