Leader: Passive defense can block irreversible threats

Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA Forty-three Iranian nationals imprisoned in Thailand are supposed to be repatriated toIran to spend the rest of their terms in their homeland, Ministry of Justice director general for international cooperation said

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Sunday, Mahdi Shahrokhi said the Iranian inmates will be extradited on November 1.

Most of these inmates were accused of drug smuggling, he added.

Earlier on September 15, ten Iranian nationals imprisoned in Thailand were extradited to Iran to spend the rest of their terms in their homeland, Deputy Justice Minister for Human Rights and International Affairs Mahmoud Abbasi said.
