Leader: US evil policy on Palestine not to be realized
Tehran, Iran's Supreme Leader said that, with God's help, the US devil policy on Palestine dubbed as the Deal of Century would not be realized.
Referring to the attempts of the enemies focused on confrontation with Muslims, particularly on Palestine and Yemen, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said, 'The Americans have called their evil policy on Palestine 'the Deal of Century', but they'd better know that with God's help the deal will never be realized, and to the US statesmen disappointment, the Palestine cause will not be forgotten, and Quds will remain its capital.'
Emphasizing that the Palestinians, supported by other Muslims, would resist the plot, he said some Muslim governments have sacrificed themselves for the Americans.
'God willing, the Muslim Ummah and Palestinian people will overcome their enemies and will witness the day when the Zionist regime has been uprooted in Palestine territories.'
Speaking to a number of Iranian Hajj officials, the Supreme Leader described the ritual as the manifestation of a combination of spirituality and politics, stressing that the real Hajj is one that is accompanied by disavowal of pagans, and at the same time, lays grounds for unity, empathy, and integrity among Muslims.
Today, that the ill-intentioned and foolish people are trying to inculcate the separation of religion and government and life into the youth, Hajj is the best opportunity and a stage to practically show the intertwined relations between them.
The Leader also emphasized that the holy Kaaba, the Great Mosque of Mecca, and Al-Masjid al-Nabawi (Prophet Mosque) belong to all Muslims, not to those who are governing the territory.
No state or government is allowed to prevent the real concepts of Hajj from being realized, he said.
Referring to the past years' tragic incidents during Hajj, including Mina stampede that claimed the lives of thousands of pilgrims, the leader urged the concerened organizations to pursue the incidents so that a fact-finding committee, with cooperation of Iran, will be formed.
The two tragic incidents were the result of not providing the safety for the pilgrims, as it was the main responsibility of Saudi government, Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding that Riyadh has not paid the blood money of those who were killed.
