Majlis commission discusses security affairs with interior min
Tehran, The developments which took place in the last days of the previous Iranian year (ending on March 20, 2018) and also the plans for the current year were discussed with the Minister of Interior Abdorreza Rahmani-Fazli, said the spokesman of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy on Monday.
'Most security should be provided for the people although the international and regional enemies are trying to harm us,' Hossein Naqavi-Hosseini quoted the minister of interior saying at the commission.
Referring to the ups and downs of the previous year, he quoted the minister talking on issues such as the successful presidential and city council elections, the riots that took place in the country, and the dervishes' riot in Northern Tehran.
In the borders, there have been a lot of precious attempts; the authorities tried hard to control social harms, he quoted the minister.
'The first priority of the Interior Ministry in the current year is to elevate content and prevent discontent,' Rahmani-Fazli told the meet.
'Some hegemonic powers and Saudi Arabia are trying to pressure the Iranian people to increase discontent,' the minister said according to Naqavi-Hosseini.
