Managers must be accountable to God, people, managerial and supervisory hierarchies/ Gov’t serious in following people’s demands

The President described having a transformational view derived from religious culture as a prerequisite for efficiency in running the country and said, “Managers in religious culture try to solve people’s problems and please God, and there is an important difference between them and others”.

Speaking on Thursday in the Administrative Council of Isfahan Province, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, “In religious culture, managers must be accountable to God, people and the management and supervisory hierarchy”.

Emphasising the importance of efforts by managers to solve people’s problems, the President called this effort one of the important differences between religious management and other management systems.

Emphasising the transformational approach of the 13th Administration in running the country, Dr Raisi noted, “The first condition for this change is a change in the method of management. The most important condition for the success of this action is a competent, efficient and compassionate manager”.

Reiterating the remarks of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution who said, “We have no problem that cannot be solved in this country,” Mr Raisi said, “By changing the view and methods, I am sure that all problems can be solved and there is no problem that can be solved by young people and Iranian scientists”.

Emphasising the need to administer justice as a priority of the Popular Administration, the President called for dialogue with the people about the reasons and grounds for decisions and policies, and said, “When a decision is made, everyone should know the basis of that decision”.

In honour of the 23,000 martyrs of Isfahan province, Dr Raisi said, “All these martyrs that Isfahan province has dedicated to the revolution, is a clear proof of the loyalty and interest of the honourable people of Isfahan in the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and the late Imam”.

In another part of his speech, the President emphasised on solving the water problems of Isfahan province and noted, “It is necessary to solve the water problem with all-round diligence and empathy of all agencies”.

Ayatollah Raisi said, “There have been shortcomings, but now we must try to solve these problems”.

The President further pointed out the importance of protecting the environment and said, “It is unacceptable to see an increase in the incidence of some diseases every day due to the presence of industrial pollutants, and this problem must be solved”.

Referring to his visits to the scientific and technological centres of Isfahan province, Ayatollah Raisi stated, “This province has always been the hub of agriculture, industry and tourism. Today, I want to say that one of the most important centres of science, technology and research in the country is Isfahan province”.

The President considered it necessary to launch the Isfahan high-speed train and noted, “The Isfahan-Qom-Tehran connection is one of the priorities for the development of Isfahan province and its neighbouring areas”.

Referring to the need to prevent tax evasion in order to administer justice, Dr Raisi stated, “The actions that are being taken are among the tasks set by the legislator and should have been performed in the previous government”.

Emphasising that the number of tax evasions in the country is high, the President stated, “I urge the Tax Affairs Organisation to follow the issue of tax evasion seriously”.

Dr Raisi said, “Our country is prone to incidents, but people are right to expect that destruction is prevented with preventive measures and effective measures”.

Expressing sorrow over Abadan’s Motropol collapse and the Mashhad-Yazd train derailment, the President addressed the managers, “Make accurate predictions and monitor the work of experts, do not say we trusted them”.

Dr Raisi continued, “This government is concerned about people’s demands. Respect for individuals is necessary, but more than individuals, respect for the revolution, the system and social capital, public trust in the system and the efficiency of the country’s administrative system are more necessary”.

Referring to the need for a jihadist movement to solve the country’s problems, the president said, “There are many capacities in this country. We must overcome these problems by taking advantage of these capacities and jihadist management”.
