Minister of Culture sends message of condolence following the martyrdom of Iranian pilgrims in Iraq
Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance by issuing a message of condolence condemned the perpetrators of this horrendous act of terrorism and said that such bloodletting crimes will not diminish the love and devotion of Iranians towards the members of the household of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). According to Public Relations and Information Center of Ministry of Culture, Mr. Reza Salehi Amiri said participation of millions of people on the sad occasion of fortieth day of martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS), was a miracle in itself and astonished world community. He added that real opponents and enemies of Islam, a religion advocating peace, tranquility and love and care for humanity, out of anger and cowedness committed this barbaric act of terrorism and killed and injured dozens of Iranian pilgrims near the Iraqi town of Al- Hella. Minister of Culture and Islamic Culture in his message has said killing of these innocent people will not have slightest effect on the love of Muslims and those true followers of prophet Mohammad and members of his household and make us more determined in our campaign to wipe out this stigma of Takfiries and their act of violence and terror from the compassionate image of Islam. Mr. Salhei Amiri has condoled the families of victims and has prayed for soul of those who lost their life in the terrorist attack.
