Thousands sign Trump petition - should the President come to the UK?
A petition calling for Mr Trump to be prevented from making a state visit to the UK hit 100,000 signatures at about 12.30pm on Sunday meaning it could now be selected for debate by MPs.
It reached the 100,000 needed to be considered for debate by MPs just after midday.
Numbers then steadily rose throughout the afternoon as the controversial ban continued to spark anger across the world, with the petition averaging more than 1,000 signatures per minute.
