Moscow underlines maintaining economic ties with Iran
Moscow, Russian President special envoy stressed the importance of establishing long-term ties with Iran.
The agreements should be signed in long-term format and for a period of at least 5 years, the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on issues of humanitarian and economic cooperation with the countries of the Caspian region Ramadan Abdulatipov was quoted by Russian media 'Tass' as saying.
He referred to lamb exports as a successful cooperation field which is being developed.
A systematic work in this area and an increase in the volume of exports and imports will be possible if the presence of consumers in the two countries is guaranteed, he said.
The political and security relations between Russia and Iran have increased steadily over the last few years in a way that it was unprecedented.
