Muhammad: The Messenger of God’ screened in China
On the occasion of the departure of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS) and Imam Reza (AS), 'Muhammad: The Messenger of God' was screened at Iranian embassy in Beijing on Tuesday evening with presence of Majid Majidi, director of the film.
The ceremony, organized by the Islamic Republic of Iran's Cultural Advisor in China, was welcomed by diplomats and staff of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in China and their families, Iranians, merchants and Iranian students residing in the country.
Majid Majidi, director of the film 'Muhammad: The Messenger of God', condoled the audience on departure of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS) and Imam Reza (AS) and said, 'After seven years the movie making finished, all those who pretend to be the supporter of the so-called Islam, took stance against the movie.'
Majidi said, 'I had been consulting with a large number of Sunni and Shia scholars before making the film, and all the sensitivities and considerations they had were addressed in the film.'
