Naval Force equipment indigenized: Cmdr
Tehran, Naval Force Commander of Iranian Army said the Navy has indigenized the equipment needed to defend the country's interests at sea.
On the sidelines of a visit to the Naval Force exhibition on technical achievements on Saturday, Admiral Hossein Khanzadi added, 'In the show we witness part of the maturity, capacity and selfsufficiency of the Army's Navy.'
He noted, 'With other parts of the country, including the Ministry of Defense and other scientific and research bodies, we reached a level of capability that we are able to fully indigenize what we need in the country to defend territorial integrity under the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the nation's interests at sea.'
The Navy commander deemed the capabilities an indication of Iran's authority.
