New mechanisms to prevent the deposition of goods in customs, speed up the assignment of state-owned property
The members of the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Board approved new mechanisms to prevent the deposition of goods in customs and to accelerate the assignment of state-owned property.
In the Sunday night meeting of the Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Board, which was held under the chairmanship of Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, a new mechanism to prevent the sedimentation of imported goods in the customs of the country and to speed up the determination of ownership of state-owned property was approved.
Among these measures is increasing the speed of processes through connecting and updating the exchange of information about imported goods and property in a chain and coordinated manner between the relevant institutions.
Also, speeding up order registration and currency allocation for priority goods was among the decisions of this meeting.
In this meeting, a report was also presented on the latest status of goods in the customs of the country and the measures taken by the current government to organise the customs and reduce the deposition of goods.
