Nuclear deal enhances Iran prestige: Expert
Tehran, July 15, IRNA The dexterity exercised by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the country's prominent diplomats during the nuclear talks let them display all elements of Iran's national power in the global aerena, an expert says.
The international relations expert Ali Mohammad Bidarmaghz in an interview with IRNA on the occasion of the second anniversary of signing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) between Iran and major world powers, said that the Iranian negotiating team was able to sit at a table with global powers, talk with them, and obtain concessions, while displaying the country's national power in the international arena.
The JCPOA was signed on July 14, 2015 between Iran and the Group 5+1.
Pointing to the pervasive imperialist, hegemonic view in all spheres on the international scene, from politics to sports, the former diplomat of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: When an Iranian negotiating team obtains concessions from the five UN Security Council members and Germany, they have proven the national authority and resistance, as well as popular cooperation and military capabilities.
Not only diplomats, but also all the businessmen in every fields they practice should put the national authority elements to display in their behavior and speech, when they are engaged with the international community, to be able to obtain concessions, he added.
