Number of Palestinians killed, wounded in March of Return rising

Tehran, Three Palestinians have been shot dead and 248 others wounded by the forces of the Zionist regime of Israel during the March of Return, the Palestinian Health Ministry said on Saturday.

The Palestinians held a massive rally on Friday, Sept 15, in different parts of Gaza and West Bank.

According to Al-Mayadeen satellite television channel, 248 people, including 18 children and two relief workers were wounded during the clashes with the Zionist troops at the Gaza Strip border with the Occupied Territories.

One-hundred and twenty of the injured were reportedly taken to the hospital.

The Israeli forces also targeted a Palestinian military watch tower in southern Gaza.

The March of Return is a series of protests held by Palestinians which have been held every Friday since March 30, 2018. The protesters demand that Palestinian refugees and their descendants be allowed to return to their mother land, a land they have been displaced from.

Since the beginning of the March and the removal of the blockade on March 30, 172 Palestinians have been killed and more than 19,000 others wounded.
