Oil minister: Iran seeking foreign investment for joint oil fields

Tehran, Aug 20, Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh underlined that his ministry prioritizes attracting foreign investment to develop joint oilfields.

The most important priority is to attract investors from domestic or foreign accredited companies to develop joint oilfields.

He made the remarks on the sidelines of the first cabinet meeting here on Sunday afternoon.

Zangeneh said retrieving oil in under operation oil fields, renovation and rebuilding oil installations are among other priorities of the Ministry of Petroleum.

He thanked Majlis deputies for their votes and said that the votes were for functions of oil industry and its employees.
