One succumbs to injures from terror attack in SE Iran
Zahedan, One out of the eight injured people in June 26 terror attack in southeastern Iran died of injuries on today, the Islamic Republic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) public relations office announced on Tuesday.
Sunni Basiji (volunteer force) Abed Gomshadzehi was injured on June 26, said Colonel Hassan Qassemzadeh.
On June 26, the Takfiri-affiliated terrorists intended to penetrate Iran through Tahlab region in Mirjaveh border area in southeastern country to sabotage and conduct terrorist activities, the IRGC said.
During the operation two Sunni members of Basij volunteer forces as well as an IRGC member were killed, and eight forces were injured. Three terrorists were killed and some others injured in the clash between IRGC ground forces and the terrorists.
Mirjaveh is a town and the capital of Mirjaveh County, in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
