Oslo always defending Iran nuclear deal: Envoy
Mashad Norway has always defended Iran nuclear deal known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Norwegian ambassador to Iran said.
Norway has its independent policies regarding Iran nuclear deal from other European countries, Lars Nordrum said Wednesday in a meeting with Mashad Mayor Qasem Taqizade Khamesi.
'Cooperation is underway with Iran in oil and gas field and is increasing in oil platforms,' Nordrum said.
He expressed readiness for sharing experiences with Mashad on clean air.
Based on our findings, air travel from Oslo to Mashad is costeffective; he said, adding that it can help joint cooperation in tourism field.
Taqizade Khamesi, for his part, said Mashad is the biggest tourist city in the world hosting 28 million pilgrims per year.
This is while; London only hosts 18 million passengers per year, he reiterated.
He referred to tourism as the first joint cooperation between Mashad municipality and Norway.
Mashad enjoys good facilities and infrastructures, he added.
