Over 200 kg of narcotics seized in southern Iran
Kerman, Intelligence Ministry's Directorate General in Kerman Province said in a statement that over 200 kilograms of narcotics have been seized by the security forces in southern Iran.
In two separate operations by the police and security forces, two drug trafficking gangs were traced and dismantled, the statement added.
It said that after due inspections, in the first operation, the security forces discovered 110 kilograms of opium and arrested one person.
In the second operation, 100 kilograms of opium and 65 kg of hashish was confiscated and two drug traffickers were detained, the statement said.
