Pak FM urges closer cooperation with Iran
Islamabad, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi calls for closer cooperation with Iran to achieve peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
Talking to IRNA, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said he had a very good meeting with his Iranian counterpart, in which both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and strengthen relations between the two countries.
We are neighbors and we have common challenges, we have convergence on a number of regional issues, the best way forward is exchange of views and I welcome Foreign Minister Zarif to visit us, the new government in Pakistan, he said.
He added that it is just exchange of ideas, thoughts and putting your heads together to find solutions and objective is to achieve peace, stability and prosperity.
