Pakistan ready to expand ties with Iranian police
Tehran, Head of Pakistan Federal Research Organization General Bashir Ahmad Ma'moun, who is in Tehran, visited Police Identification Department on Tuesday and expressed his country's desire to expand cooperation with the Iranian police.
He expressed pleasure over the growing trend of relations between the two police forces and added that Iran, Pakistan as two Muslim neighbors have similar problems.
General Ma'moun pointed to Iranian police prowess in establishing security in border areas and said that intelligence and operational cooperation as well as promoting interaction among officers is so important.
