Pakistan speaker urges uprooting terrorism
Tehran, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkey, China, and Russia must cooperate with each other to eradicate terrorism, said Pakistan National Assembly speaker on Saturday.
Asad Qaiser made the remarks in the Second Sixnation Speakers' Conference participated as well by the parliament speakers of Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, China, and Russia with combating terrorism as its main theme.
Qaiser said that he and his colleagues during the meeting will discuss the challenges of combating terrorism.
He also called for taking joint measures to uproot terrorism.
He went on to say that the six countries attending the event have valuable cultures and languages, and can take good steps in fighting terrorism.
He stressed that the six regional nations similar to political, economic, and cultural affairs, should play effective role in the fight against terrorism.
He added that Iran has addressed the issue of terrorism during the last two decades and has greatly fulfilled its responsibility in this regard.
