Pakistan wants balanced ties with Iran, Saudi Arabia: Adviser
Talking to IRNA, Nasser Janjua said: 'We would like to see unity in the Muslim world because disunity in the Islamic world is disastrous for Ummah.'
Unity in the Islamic world is the need of the hour, he said.
The advisor added that both Pakistan and Iran should focus on bringing interfaith harmony in their countries.
He said that Iran and Pakistan should work closely with the countries of the region and stay well-connected with all countries of the Muslim world.
Pakistan government has already tried to intermediate between Iran and Saudi Arabia in early 2016, but Riyadh did not welcome the initiative.
