Pakistani advisor meets PM Imran ahead of Iran visit

Islamabad, IRNA — Pakistan’s advisor on commerce and investment on Thursday met with Prime Minister Imran Khan ahead of his visit to Iran and discussed importance of the vital visit.

A PM House statement said Abdul Razzak Dawood apprised the PM about his upcoming visit to Iran and its role in improving prospects of regional connectivity and bilateral trade between the two countries.

Imran Khan emphasized improvement of trade with regional countries as it would help in increasing exports.

He stated that the Government of Pakistan is providing all possible support to foreign investors through “Ease of doing Business” policy.

Earlier Abdul Razak Dawood said that he would visit Iran in November to attend a meeting of the Joint Trade Committee for promotion of border markets and barter trade with the Islamic Republic.

During a meeting with an Iranian delegation led by Member of Parliament and President of Iran Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group Ahmad Amirabadi Farahani in Islamabad, Dawood said that his upcoming visit to Iran was very important.
